First weekend of August - Kotor Summer carnival

Much younger than the winter carnival, this festival was founded in 2001 when the need to enrich cultural and entertainment content during the summer season was recognized. Again, several days of festivities, concerts, plays and events with a main carnival procession with group masks from all around the world. Because of the peak of summer season, this event attracts dozens of thousands of viewers and the whole country is watching a live broadcast on TV.
